Mascot Contest: Where Waggers Aren't Just Welcome, They're Winners!
The Lupus Foundation of Northern California is proud to announce our Mascot Contest for the 2017 Drumbeat for a Lupus Cure 5K Run & Walk. The Mascot Contest is a fun way for your family pup(s) to get in on the action, and to raise money for a great cause at the same time. As in previous years, the winning canine will receive prizes and lead our walkers! Here is how it works.
Step 1: Enter Your Canine.
Send an email to communications@lfnc.org with a recent photo, breed, sex, age, a few sentences about why they should win and human companion information (your name, address, email, phone). Enter by Friday, May 12.
Step 2: Vote (whether or not your pup is in the running!)
Vote on LFNC.org. Each vote is $1, and you can vote for as many contestants as you want and as many times you'd like! Voting will take place May 16 to June 5.
Step 3: Winner announced on Wednesday, June 7.
Winner will lead walkers at the 5K on June 11.
Step 4: Bring your canine and meet the winner at the Drumbeat 5K on Sunday, June 11 featuring special doggy raffle prizes!
