We are starting off 2024 with 2 great lupus health sessions! First Dr. Alvin Wells will discuss lupus and your kidneys. In our second session, lupus patient Setareh Banisadr will cover Self Care, Stress Management and sleep. Each presentation will be followed by a 15 minute Q & A session.
This program is FREE to lupus patients, family members, health professionals and other interested parties.

Meet the Presenters:
Dr. Alvin Wells, MD, PhD
Dr. Wells is currently a practicing rheumatologist at the Aurora Rheumatology and Immunotherapy Center in Franklin, Wisconsin, He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Visiting Foreign professor at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He also maintains his clinical affiliation with Duke University private practice, Dr. Wells was an Associate Medical Director at Abbott Laboratories where he played a central role in the launch of HUMIRA.
Setareh Banisadr
Setareh Banisadr is a lupus patient, longtime volunteer at the LFNC and graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in Integrative Health. Through turning around her own health through healthy lifestyle practices, she became fascinated by what patients with autoimmune disease could do to help themselves. She is the founder of Setareh Health where she coaches clients with chronic diseases one on one to help them make healthy behavior changes to improve their health and overall well-being.
