Meet this year's contestants for the 2022 Mascot Contest.  

The Outrun Lupus 5K Run/Walk Mascot Contest is a fun (and friendly!) online contest among dogs who are nominated, where you vote with your dollars. The pup who raises the most money with votes wins and they lead the walkers at the Outrun Lupus 5K on Saturday June 8th. Pretty cool, right?
Voting starts at $1 per vote, and you can vote for as many contestants as you like, and as many times as you like! Voting takes place through Sept 23rd, and the winner will be announced online and at the 5K. Bring your caninie to the Run/Walk, meet the winner and have some fun!

Bailey, is 2 years old, female and extremely friendly. Bailey is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She loves children and adults, playing and long walks. When we walk through town people love seeing her. We have had many ask to pet her and then telling us, "you made my day."

Dalgi ("strawberry" in Korean). She is a 15-month-old Cavachon (cavalier King Charles + bichon). She is very friendly, liked almost universally by kids (because she looks like a muppet!) and sits down/wags her tail when she sees big dogs (and adults) walking by. She is hopeful and relentless positive, enthusiastic about the smallest joys.

My dog Koko was adopted and is my support dog who is always there for me. He knows when I’m sick and when I have a very bad flair he alerts my husband and others. He is a poodle, plus I have 3 dogs who are my best friends and keep me walking them to stay healthy.

Levi is 8 months old part golden retriever/ cocker spaniel. He loves hiking, swimming and playing fetch at the beach, hugs, and belly rubs. He loves everyone, but especially his family.

My name is Molly Bennett and I am a 2 year old basset hound. I think I should win because I am cute and my presence always makes people happy. I have short legs and a little chunky so that walk will do me good. My human will have to bring my wagon though if I get too tired (which will happen).

Sammy is My Emotional-Support Dog who supports and loves his Family of LUPUS Survivors. Sammy has a very gentle nature with people, children, other dogs and Senior Living Adults in Hospitals. Our TEAM: Keck Family LUPUS Survivors Walks for Catherine & Dan in our Family who have suffered from LUPUS for many years.

Yuna is a sweet girl who loves her short walks (for all the good smells), and is an overall good match in energy as her mom who has lupus. Yuna is an energetic puppy, but she fully represents the spoonie life. After some walks she needs a day (or two) of recovery just like her mom. During her free time, she likes to update her Instagram (yunaventures)
