Each year, the Lupus Foundation of Northern California holds two regional lupus mini-conferences for patients and their families, as well as medical providers. The all-day program features physician speakers and noted researchers specializing in autoimmune and related diseases, followed by a patient panel discussion. The program focuses on the latest research/updates on lupus and diagnosis & treatments as well as progress of ongoing clinical trials. Offered both in english and spanish, the conferences are presented at a level most adult lupus patients and families would understand.
This program is open to lupus patients, family members, health professionals and other interested parties. It is also open to registered nurses for whom five (5) CEU credits are available through the Lupus Foundation of Northern California, a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses, Provider Number 05677.
