On Tuesday, March 21, advocates for lupus patients from across the country will assemble on Capitol Hill, and speak to members of Congress about the needs to advance lupus research. Lupus organizations of all stripes are coming together under the umbrella of the Lupus Research Alliance National Coalition for our "hill day." View a message from our team on the left (or above).

What we will be asking members of Congress:

• Provide $5 billion for lupus research in the 2017 Defense Appropriations.
• Health care reform principles to protect lupus patients from all walks of life.
• $2 billion increase for biomedical research in the budget for National Institutes of Health.
